Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Looking to leave Long Island New York this Oct 2025 to head to the Caribbean, San Blas, possibly Columbia and then back to the canal.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

usually cleancomfortablevery safevessel is survey certifiedvery spaciouslive on little moneyshare experiencevisit remote placesseek adventurefulfill a dreamface challengeslive off the grid

Completely restored Idylles 15.5 meter. My company is in the marine restoration business, and I restored this boat personally. There is to much to list but the boat is basically brand new with many upgrades and custom construction and materials throughout. New sails purchased last year, 2024. New standing rigging will be installed this summer.

Just be honest with yourself about your comfort and stress level on a sailboat and out on the water. It will get uncomfortable and unnerving at times. I'm a very confident calming person under stress and a pressure player, so if you can listen to advice and stay calm everything should be just fine. If I start to shit in my pants were probably in trouble. lol
