We have chartered a Bavaria 50 to go from Levkas to Athens and are seeking a crew of 1 to 4 persons to join us on a cost sharing basis. The fixed costs for the two weeks are €500,00/person. On top of this we share all daily expenses on board e.g. food, beverage, diesel, canal fees etc. This is a purley recreational journey and we will take it easy going from one place to another enjoying ports, bays and the local cuisine as much as we do the sailing itself.

The current crew is the skipper and his 1st mate and wife. We are a couple since over 15 years. The skipper has about 30 years of recreational sailing behind him and both skipper and 1st mate have the German SBS and VHF certificates. We are both more than happy to share our sailing knowledge and experience to anyone who wants to learn and to gladly take advice and knowledge from others that bring it on board.

The yacht has berths for 10 people in 5 cabins, but to keep it conveniant and pleasurable for all, we are limiting the number of people on board to 6 including the two of us. This, in turn, means that each crew member may have its own cabin.

The crew can be both beginners or experienced. Important is that you are easy going and enjoy time on a boat, in bays and small ports and villages along the way. And again, this is recreational. If the weather is really bad, we stay in port and enjoy the village or bay we might be in at the time and when the weather is good, we sail on. We have plenty of time from Lefkas/Lefkada (Airport Preveza) to our destination in Athes and expect to have also a few days of sailing to the south of Athens once having passed the short Canal of Corinth.
