I am a single, non-smoking, 75 year old male living in Virginia Beach (at the oceanfront) or sailing the Chesapeake Bay. Retired civil engineer, I am experienced on the water, had a 6-pack USCG License, watch movies/tv, and listen to most types of music. I have made 13 round trip cruises to the Bahamas from the Chesapeake Bay. Plans are to take my boat out of storage at Atlantic Yacht Basin (Chesapeake VA) March 2025 for cruising the Chesapeake Bay the summer of 2025. I need someone to drive me (in my car) from my home inVirginia Beach to the boat in Chesapeake and assist in getting all boat systems up and running. THen sail the chesapeake Bay summer 2025.

What is expected of the crew

I take care of all boat expenses and we can discuss food. Work on the boat is only general cleaning and maintenance/breakdown repairs which I take care of myself with help from you if you are able to assist. This is meant to be a cruising experience and not a boat rebuild in process! I am somewhat visually impaired (limited peripheral vision). Crew should be able to steer, sail the boat by chart plotter. You shall also be able to drive my car.
