I am a marine biologist with sailing experience in the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Pacific Ocean. I am enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the ocean and marine life, positive, professional looking to spend more time on the ocean. I have a Morgan 44 in the Virgin Islands but am looking to continue learning and experiencing new places. I am optimistic, a great chef, a team player, avid reader, and SCUBA, snorkel and ocean sport aficionado. Not looking for hook ups or total party scenes at all, though Im certainly one to enjoy cocktails once we are all safe and sound. I also just completed crossing the Atlantic Ocean as part of an all women's expedition to raise awareness about plastic pollution! I'd be interested in sampling along the way- no special equipment needed to search for plastic in more remote locations.

About myself. As a marine scientist, I enjoy researching along the way all about the the stars, the currents, the marine wildlife and sharing my knowledge with others. Im not a nerd, but certainly very interested in our ocean. Am quite content at sea as well as coastal cruising, and love the combination.

I am still working, but quite available with some advance notice. Love to stand watch, serve as the chef, and contribute to chores. Not particularly mechanical, but take orders well and can assist with project projects if necessary. Very clean, no body work, very presentable, can dine with the rich and famous or happy at a dive bar.

I find myself unexpectedly single after spending two years preparing to sail and coastal cruise our Morgan 44' in the Mediterranean, Europe and Caribbean. I just sailed our boat 1406 miles to the Virgin Islands, and loved it and want to do more. Looking for sane, reasonable, safety oriented, sailors to join in the cruising lifestyle.
