Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Hi, our boat is a stock-plan custom-built aluminium sloop. I have crossed the Atlantic twice with her some time ago and she is now based for more than ten years in Croatia.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

Plans for 2024 are still open; probabbly only short windows for taking crew!, if any.
I have owned the yacht since she was built in South Africa in 2005 and sailed her via Brazil and the Caribbean all the way to Croatia. In total, I have logged some 30k ocean miles and sailed various types of boats at sea and on the lake - even including some foiling.
The last summers I spent on the boat in Croatia. Focus is not mile building but easy sailing from one island to the next. I may stay a few days in a place I like. I am an early riser, like to take a stroll on the islands and play quite a lot of music. I'm also interested in environment protection - maybe doing some research in a plastic-clean-up project (if there was no Corona, I would currently be sailing in Northern Europe with a environment protection organisation).
Last years, I sailed some weeks with my family, some friends and some findacrew-crew - all was very well, and I intend to copy-paste the mix in the future.

What is expected of the crew

easy-goingenthusiasticrespectfultrustworthyopen mindedsense of humor

I'm looking for a positive person joining me for a few weeks. Sailing experience would be nice, but is not a condition. More important to me is that the person fits to the easy lifestyle and is open-minded. If you share my interest in music and the environment, so the better. I will let you a lot of space and privacy but enjoy a good talk. Right-wing populists, dogmatic adherents to any religion, bores and bankers may want to look for another boat.
