Hi,
getting annoyed by the haste and business on European roads, I‘d wish to swap for a different way of travelling. The only ships I have boarded yet were big ferries, mostly with a truck. Frequently on the 18hrs crossing from Cherbourg to Dublin. I know, this can’t be compared to sailing and I am eager to find out the difference. So no guarantee I wont become seasick ;-). I am well used to living in a restricted space, although in a van or truck or with motorcycle and tent in the past 25 years. Now it‘s time to move on and I’m preparing to learn about life under sails. There’s a lot to learn and I believe it’s most effective by simply doing it. I hope some of you can provide me with the opportunity and i will throw in good work and enthusiasm. I can’t offer specific skills and knowledge, but I am used to hard work, short sleep, rough conditions and definitely willing to learn about seamanship.
