I'm André, 32 years old and do speak french and German natively, plus pretty good English and a little Spanish.

I am traveling by bike and since I crossed sea from East to West, I am looking forward continuing my journey to central America, preferably Panama from September 2023.

Then I wish to become part of your travel getting somewhere new to discover !

The destination is not much important, any can be nice. I am seeking the adventure, having a good time and improving my skills in sailing.

Until today, I have been sailing on lakes and since GC the Atlantic. Yet, I would say I have quite good experience, therefore I am willed to learn, being a good listener and observator and have a good understanding to improve quickly. I made around 4500 NM yet, have 78 hours and 70 hours during daytime; fully manual navigation, manoeuvre getting in and out the harbor, setting sails, ...

Furthermore, I believe I can brighten up the daily routine on board : having good conversations, sharing experiences, bringing in my knowledge in mechanic and electric, skills in working wood and metal, or wether it's shooting beautiful stills and motion pictures while the journey for documentary, or even getting creative in the kitchen. Also I worked as a paramedic and do can provide care in case of need. Also, I am very reliable and as I always say : "good communication is key to success".

I enjoy traveling, have seen and visited quite many places in my life yet and can tell and share many stories about it. This is the first time I go on such a travel by bike, originally initiated by my old-flstmate, with whom I traveled until Canary Islands, but as we considered it being a jackpot to get one of us with a bike on board, we decided to split for now, hopefully finding together soon again...!

On this journey, once again, I have no defined destination. Therefore, I always dreamed getting to latine America (wether south America or Middle America/Panamerica, or Caribbean).

Since I travel by ferry from Huelva (Spain) to Gran Canaria, I heard other passengers talking about possibilities hitchhiking from there... I went in the port and quickly found a boat.

Since the went through storm they had some issues, especially in electric concerns, which I was able to solve all. Also everything worked for our crossing until Cabo Verde.

It was my real first experience on open sea. While the journey I gained experience in navigation of the 1350NM; 36 hours navigation at night, 28hours on daytime.

I really enjoyed the experience and therefore I am looking forward to improve my skills even more. Being a good listener and observator, I would highly appreciated you sharing your knowledge. Whatcha out I might have many questions ;-)

Above all, I believe I can highly improve daily routine with the skills I bring on board on a quite large scale.

NOTE : I would bring my luggage & bicycle.
