During the 2016, 2017 and 2018 winters I worked as a professional cook/stewardess around the coast of Florida and Bahamas. In the summer of 2015 I worked on the tall ship El Galeon from Philadelphia to Maine and back, with lots of helm time. Then I did the Kalmar Nyckel tallship sailing class, plus a superyacht delivery and two short trips on power and sail yachts through Findacrew.

In the winter of 2012/13 I sailed the Eastern Caribbean for 2,000 nautical miles on three different boats throughout the islands and up to the Bahamas, 27 islands in all, so lots of anchor duty and docking, also overnight navigational watch, line handling, helm and windvane steering. It was quite an adventure.

I do: cooking, cleaning, helm watch, boat washing, and have great experience with kids as a nanny/tutor. I am extremely easy to get along with and have no problem taking orders and completing tasks. I play music on the fiddle and enjoy seafaring songs and hornpipes.

My dream trip is to sail from the Marquesas to the Gambiers for access to the southern Tuamotus before the Society and Cook Islands. Tahanea I heard is nice. Also Wallace and Fatuna near Fiji. Also Thailand and Croatia of course :)

My grandfather and great grandfather were tall ship captains and navigators, and further back, (many greats) grandfather was in the battle of Trafalgar in the HMS Defiance. Plus, oral tradition has it that another of my ancestors back in 1776 was a buccaneer. Haha.
