The contrast between the action and discipline whilst under sail, and the quiet, peaceful moments when the boat is at anchor, is what inspire me to sail.
And the people and places. Good food.
And the attitude that life should be uncomplicated, fun and not be taken too seriously.

I have done the RYA courses as Skipper (Practical and Shore based), Radio, Diesel Engine Maintenance and Competent Crew, have sailed the Adriatic Sea, the Southern Parts of the Caribbean (co-captain) as well as the French Polynesian Islands.

I have good social skills, like to entertain, have a sense of humor, as well as the ability to adapt and follow events ( or personalities) as they are presented to me.

I enjoy cooking and improvising with what ingredients are available locally. I am a good photographer and have a knack to capture the special moments on board. Other activities: hiking, snorkeling or scuba diving.

After 20 years in an demanding practice my organizing and communicating skills are well developed.
