Nearly two years ago, I made a big life change: I sold my house and decided to live aboard a boat. Living on a boat had always been a dream, and when the time came to make a decision, I knew right away that it was the path I wanted to take. I ended up purchasing a Shannon Voyager, my first boat, and dove in headfirst — ready to learn and experience everything that comes with life on a boat.
Since then, I’ve been busy upgrading and maintaining the boat, including installing nearly 2000 watts of solar power. My first big trip was from Little River, SC to Green Turtle Cay, Bahamas, a journey that tested me in ways I hadn’t expected. While I initially thought navigation would be the hardest part, I found myself more stressed about mechanical issues. That trip confirmed that this lifestyle was right for me, and I’m eager to continue learning.
Now, I’m looking to crew on other boats to gain more experience, travel, and meet others who share my passion for the water. I’m easygoing, driven, and adaptable, always ready to pitch in and contribute wherever needed. I may be quiet until I get to know someone, but I’m determined and ready to learn everything I can about boating, whether it's through watchkeeping, deck work, or just soaking in knowledge from others.
I’m open to new destinations, types of boats, and experiences, and I’m looking forward to expanding my skills and connecting with like-minded people along the way. I’m here to learn, grow, and enjoy the journey.
