ALL crew in our business are subject to drug screening on arrival to work. The Chief level roles and all deck roles are required to be listed on our drug free vessel certificate and are enrolled at our expense under our Maritime Consortium managed federal random drug testing program at all times whether or not working at the time. Crew sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement overall and often on a per-charter basis when requested by the client as a condition of working the trip.
We also require
all Captains to have 100 ton Masters license, California RBS and Food Safe, and be Loss-Free
all Stewards and Deck/Stews to have California RBS and Food Safe certificates.
all crew to arrive wearing pants and shoes that conform to our spec, we provide tops.
Crew who have a long drivetime to get to Alameda may, with advance arrangement, stay on board before or after a charter without charge.
