Dear Shipmates

I'm a 35 year old Network & Security Engineer with more than 15 years of working expirience in the industry. I hold a bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology, achieved at the University of applied Science in business administration Zürich and the University of California San Diego while working part time for bigger and a smaller IT-Companies.

After fighting off my inner "what-if's" and "could/should I's" I finaly decided to quit my Job, get rid of my appartement and just get sailing by the end of April 2023. I always felt attracted to the Water, did plenty of Diving and got my Powerboat Certification 2011 followed by my Sailing Permit in 2022. All I want to do now is getting out of the fresh water lakes of Switzerland into the big Oceans of this World. Since passing all required tests (First Aid/Written/Medical/Short Range Communication) for my skipper license, all thats left for me to do is collect Nautical Miles and Expiriences in the big blue seas.

With an italian Father and a swiss Mother I enjoy the priviledge of holding two passports (CH/IT - which can come in handy Visa-/Imigrationwise) and due to growing up bilingual, eight years of french in School (Switzerland has four official National Languages) in combination of 1.5 Years of traveling mid- and south America I speak a good spanish too.

About my personality:
I consider myself a very reliable and down-to-earth kind of guy wich loves to make new friends, work hard AND smart, with lots of talents and potential in my bag waiting to be shown off. With my pragmatic way of thinking I'm a problem solver and not a big fan of excuses. I know my way around engines and electric circuits guessing that's the engineer in me pushing trough. My friends would say, I am a decent cook too.
