Dear Shipmates
Introduction
Looking to gain more experience and sea time aboard both sail and power boats. I feel that boat deliveries would be a good starting place for me.
My boating experience includes power boating on the weekends through a boat club membership since June 2018 (still active) and sailing a Catalina 30 that we owned from July 2019 to December 2022
In 2016 completed ASA 101 and I am looking to acquire as much sailing/power boating experience as possible. I am looking for someone who is interested in sharing their knowledge and years of experience. I am a fast learner and willing to do what it takes. Also interested and available for day sails in the Ft Myers/Punta Gorda/Venice area.
I can make myself available for trips with some advanced notice in order to work out the details with my employer. I am usually available between the 10th and 29th of every month (with the exception of AUG, SEP and OCT - busy with Budget season).
Another skill set that I am working on is learning about diesel engines and marine electricity and electronics so that I may know how to troubleshoot and perform upgrades. Can also help with repair/maintenance on your boat on some weekends as long as you are willing to teach me what to do.
