Sono un ex Ufficiale Superiore della Marina Militare Italiana, oggi incongedo, con oltre 40 anni di imbarco e oltre 25 anni di Comando. Ho navigato con diversi tipi di navi e comandato navi militari oltre i 100 metri, navi scuola a vela e yachts oltre 30 metri e yachts a motore da 33 mt a 50 mt percorrendo oltre 500.000 miglia su tutti i mari del mondo. Ho pure una discreta esperienza di imbarco su sommergibili. Ho diversi brevetti subacquei sia civili sia militari, patenti nautiche e attestati professionali (SWTC, GMDSS, PPR, and so on). Tra le barche a vela più importanti che ho comandato cito Nave Caroly, Nave Capricia, Nave Stealt, Nave Marcantonio e Nave Follia. Tra i motor yacht Arcadia 85, All Star 45 mt.

I am a former senior officer of the Italian Navy, now on leave, with over 40 years of boarding and over 25 years of Command. I sailed with different types of ships and commanded military ships more dan 100 meter, training sailing ships more dan 30 meter and motor yachts from 33 mt to 50 mt along over 500.000 miles on all the seas of the world. I also have some experience of boarding on submarines. I have several patents divers both civilian and military, nautical licenses and professional certificates (SWTC, GMDSS, PPR, and so on). Ho un carattere tranquillo, sicuro di ma e se occorre autoritario, Superiori e subalterni mi hanno sempre definito un eccellente Comandante, duro ma giusto e corretto. Non bevo, fumo raramente, non gioco e adoro navigare. Ho sempre lavorato al massimo a bordo per garantire il raggiungimento degli obiettivi, assicurare la sicurezza della nave e dell'equipaggio. Sono in congedo ma voglio continuare a navigare, occuparmi di una barca, del suo equipaggio e dei suoi proprietari. Stare a terra non fa per me.

I have a quiet character, but sure, and if necessary I can be authoritarian, superiors and subordinates have always defined an excellent commander, hard but fair and just. I do not drink, rarely smoke, do not play and I love sail. I have always worked to the maximum on board to ensure the achievement of the objectives, ensuring the safety of the ship and crew. I want to continue to sail, take care of a boat, its crew and its owners. Stay on land is not for me.
