Introduction
I am an experienced cruiser willing to share skills and knowledge and companionship in return for help in day to day running of yacht. The boat is seaworthy, safe, has private cabins and I like to keep her clean and tidy. You would be expected to learn all the workings of the ship over time and always give respect for the welfare of boat and crew.
I like exploring, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, reading and good food. No special diet but fresh is always best. I don't like sailing to windward in rough seas. Being away from phone coverage is a pleasant change. While under way you would be expected to stand 3 hour watches sometimes alone but with skipper on call. For overnight passages or up to 36 hrs I prefer just one crew and skipper. This is usually the case with coastal cruising.
Am hoping to spend some time in Platypus Bay at K'gari Fraser Island to witness the tail end of the Southward Humpback migration. Snorkeling in their vicinity the songs are enchanting.
