Three good jobs. How cool is that?

What a great site this is. I first filled out a profile years ago and got a call from a 80ft sailboat in Florida. We got a years contract and I thought it was a fluke. I mean any site can get us a job once right?

Then we got another job as owners rep for a new build in Poland. We spent a great summer watching a boat getting built, documenting the work, then taking the new 62ft cat from Gdansk to Nice France.

Soon as the six month job was over I updated our profile and within a month we were offered a Skipper/Chef position on a 92ft aluminum monohull.

That is three good jobs from one website.

More to the point I have registered with almost every crew agency, interviewed in Antibes France in person with about another dozen and have hardly heard a word, but with Findacrew I have turned down a couple more good offers. We now use Findacrew to get new crew for our current boat and when this job ends I'll be on Findacrew looking for our next assignment.

If I had one piece of advice it would be when you are really ready to work, or hire crew to put up the money for premium membership. That way we get the phone number and email of the advertising member right off and that puts as at the head of the list for presenting our CV. That has made the difference in getting a job I'm sure.
