I grew up in the waters of New Zealand and spent alot of time on boats as a child. I was sailing with my family from my earliest memories and Im addicted to being in the water. Now I own my own yacht, a 22 foot (7 metre) sloop called Ratz from the Pied Piper series. She was built in 1984 in Auckland NZ. When I return to New Zealand I will look for one or two crew members to join me sailing round New Zealand. Until then I am traveling in Europe and hoping to get as much sailing time as I can.
I am an experienced chef having worked in restaurants in several countries. Food is one of my passions and I try to eat as healthily as I know how but this is always evolving as I delve deeper into the food and agriculture industries.
When the time is right I like to discuss issues of social significance and hopefully keep gathering new ideas to ponder.

I also live on my boat when I am at home in New Zealand so I want to get more sailing experience with other skippers who I can learn from.
